You were definitely a regular face in the crowd cheering us on! Just like every point counted, every single face and voice of support did too, so thanks!
Nice story, Marc! Vin Ricci shared it with me. I’m pretty sure I was in college by the time you were at 112. You guys were a great team those last few years because everyone dug in and contributed what they could, just like you recounted here. Thanks for sharing. Bobby Serrano
Hey Bobby! Glad you appreciated this - ultimately it was your Dad that instilled that fire in me and helped develop a mindset where quitting simply wasn't an option. I'm a much better person for that entire experience. This was my junior year, so 96-97? I think you were gone the year prior.
That's sounds right - I graduated in '96. I shared this with Tommy and my Dad. They both enjoyed it and thought it was quite accurate, just like The Ghost of Beaker (who I'm really hoping is John French)
This story is 100% true. Marc sells himself short though. He was at the heart (and funny bone) of the team. Every team point counted and Marc never left one on the mat.
Great story my man loved watching you guys compete in high school great team!!! AJ
