It’s been mentioned to me both on several podcast appearances as well as privately that I am coming across as very “black pilled” or “pessimistic” lately in my messaging. The first few times I heard this I sort of dismissed it, not feeling that I’m personally pessimistic per se. I’ve always seen myself as having an optimistic flair even in when discussing serious issues. But when I hear it enough from people I respect and trust, I have to take it to heart a bit.
Maybe suggest that instead of telling you to be less negative that they wake up and smell the coffee.
